Privacy Policy
Ninja Browser Control is a browser extension that runs on your own device. It has no user accounts, sends no telemetry, and does not sell or share information with advertisers or data brokers.
This policy states plainly what is stored on your device, at which exact moments information leaves it, and who receives it. It is written to be verifiable: every transfer described here belongs to a specific feature that you turn on.
1. What we do not do
- We do not create accounts or user profiles.
- We do not send usage statistics, analytics or crash reports.
- We do not sell, rent or hand over information to third parties for commercial purposes.
- We run no servers that store your history, your downloads, your browsing or your clipboard.
2. What is stored on your device
The extension keeps its settings and working data in the browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). That information never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension:
- Preferences: language, theme, card order, settings for each feature.
- The extension's download history: name, size, source and date.
- Clipboard history, only if you enable the clipboard monitor, which is off by default.
- Tab-grouping rules, VPN and proxy favourites, equalizer settings and utility module settings.
- If you activate Premium: your license key, a device license identifier, and the signed receipt returned by the license server.
- If you use the referral program: a random program identifier, your invitation code, the friend code you redeemed and the coupons you earned.
3. When information leaves, and where it goes
These are all the cases in which the extension contacts a server. Each one belongs to a specific feature: if you do not use it, the transfer does not happen.
| Feature | What is sent | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| Metatron · site checks | The domain (and for some services the full address) of the page you are opening | Google Public DNS, PhishStats, Mozilla Observatory, URLhaus (abuse.ch) |
| Network · your IP and its country | Nothing beyond the request itself: the service sees your IP address because it is the one you are asking | ipify, ipwho.is, BrowserLeaks, RestCountries and the regional RDAP registries (ARIN, RIPE, APNIC, LACNIC, AFRINIC) |
| Speed test | Test traffic, with no personal content | Cloudflare |
| Proxy list | Nothing of yours | A public list is downloaded |
| VPN and proxy | While connected, your browsing traffic passes through the server you choose | The operator of the chosen server |
| Site icons | The site's domain, in order to draw its icon in lists | DuckDuckGo and Google |
| Live TV | The DRM-free catalogue and guide requests | When you play a channel, your IP reaches the server broadcasting it |
| Video download | The file request | The site you download from |
| Premium license | Your license key, a device license identifier and the product name | Queries Lemon Squeezy (the payment platform) |
| Referral program | A random program identifier, your invitation code, the friend code you redeemed and the coupons you earned | The Interactive Solutions referral server |
| Desktop application | The video address you send to the application, only when you press the button | The application installed on your own machine |
About site checks. This is the feature that exposes the most information, because deciding whether a page is dangerous requires asking about it. You can turn it off entirely, or service by service, under Settings → Privacy & Security, and add sites to an exception list so they are never looked up.
4. Permissions and what they are for
The browser shows you the full list of permissions at install time. These are the ones worth explaining:
- Access to the sites you visit: required for the utilities to work. Processing happens in your browser.
- Clipboard: only for clipboard history, which is off by default. What you copy is stored on your device only and you can delete it whenever you want, entry by entry or all at once.
- History, bookmarks and browsing data: used by the cleanup section to show you what exists and delete what you choose. Nothing is copied anywhere.
- Tab and screen capture: for volume boost, the equalizer and screen recording. Audio and video are processed on your device and are not transmitted.
- Proxy and network: for the VPN and proxy features and for blocking rules.
- Communication with the desktop application: to send it a video address when you ask for it.
- Extension management: used only to show other extensions' names in the cleanup lists and to uninstall itself if you ask.
5. Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Some features give access to third-party content that may not be appropriate for minors; supervision is the responsibility of the adult in charge.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the new version is published at this same address with its update date.
